Printing-Courage the Cowardly Dog

This is my complete printing of Courage the Cowardly dog. I decided to use a bunch of  different colors, to show the many sides of him. My favorite cut out print of him , is the purple print on yellow paper, because I think that one came out the neatest.

Book Pages

These are my four book pages that I have recreated. I used words to connect them together, related to what the book page recreation was about. I used a collage mainly about items girls use. I did one about the moon and how it shines over the island. I did one about flowers, and the last one I also did on a flower.

This is a carving for courage the cowardly dog that I did for my print.I wanted to carve out a cartoon character, and he was the first thing in mind.

Skateboard-Flowers

This is my design of a skateboard. I decided to choose three flowers to make the skateboard seem kind of elegant. The stems where made to show the flowers elegance and I used a lot of shading with the markers. I tried to stick with two markers of red and purple and shade the background of the flower with black shadings. The flowers needed more of something to make them stand out more. I think I need a little bit more work on my flowers and shading process to make them better.

Room

This is my perspective drawing of a room. I don't feel that it was my best, but I do see the things that I may need to work on in the future.

Side View

This was my first actually drawing in Art, and I think it was okay, not my favorite. The woman's facial features were hard to draw and shade correctly, because she didn't have enough lighting on her face to create shadows. Her hair I would have to say was the hardest, but I think this certain piece came out okay.

My Favorite

This is a photo I have drawn of my favorite teenage rapper, Diggy Simmons. I used different shading styles to make his facial features seem more alive. It has a darker parts to emphasize the fact that he may have been somewhere with lighting creating shades under his neck area and a little bit on his face. I finished it on September 20, 2011. I feel this picture was the best one I have drawn so far.
